Ferrino Manaslu 2 Hiking Tent

Ferrino Manaslu 2 is a light, resistant and extremely reliable two-seater tent, which you can use at any time of the year for trekking, mountaineering and ski mountaineering.

In fact, thanks to the materials with which it is made, it will not only be very resistant, but will also be heat-insulating, waterproof and water-repellent. This is possible thanks to the Ristop 70D polyester with thermal insulating aluminised polyurethane coating of which the double roof and the floor are made, which have a waterproof index of 3000 mm and 8000 mm respectively. Further improving the situation are the taped seams and the three-layer basin with reinforced corners.

The poles are in 7001 T6 tempered aluminum alloy and the stakes are in Hexagon aluminum, in order to always guarantee lightness, resistance and elasticity. The great reliability of this tent is also given to the particular construction of the supporting structure with pre-connected poles in duralumin and radial joint.

In addition to wanting to guarantee you a great protection, Ferrino also thought about the ventilation of the tent, inserting the ventilation hoods, a fully openable external mosquito net and the inside of the tent in breathable material. In addition, I brought the distance of the double roof to adjust to allow a greater or lesser passage of air based on the climate and weather conditions in which you are. On the basal perimeter of the tent you will find a liftable flap on the ground that will allow you optimal ventilation (when rolled up) or protection of the tent in bad weather (if unrolled).

This tent is suitable for mountaineering thanks also to some special features! At the corners of the tent floor there are in fact slots in tape that will give you the opportunity to anchor the tent, if mounted on snow, with ice axes, skis or other equipment available at that time. In addition, the tie rod system has been specifically designed to withstand the strong wind that you can find in the high mountains.
