We’ve got you covered if you’re old-school and want a new-to-you setup for tele bliss.
The Big Bang telemark skis feature a purpose-built construction that caters specifically to the demands of telemark skiing. With a sturdy yet lightweight core, these skis strike the perfect balance between stability and maneuverability, allowing you to tackle various snow conditions and terrain types confidently.
Rossignol’s Freeride V.A.S. (Vibration Absorbing System) controls chatter for superb edge control in varied conditions. The round flex floats through fresh and crud but still carves through the hard stuff. Dualtec telemark cap construction provides better rebound to the top of the ski. Sandwich construction features 90-degree sidewalls for a terrain-hugging edge. Pre-molded, high-density foam core shapes the ski to diffuse vibration.
The Big Bangs are equipped with Rottefella Chili Cobra Carve bindings with super-strong construction for more turning power. Extra-thick stainless-steel bale holds the boot toe securely in place for excellent foot-to-ski power transfer with big boots. Heavy-duty connecting rods substantially increase torsional stability; the rear bale keeps the boot in position for added control–no pins. Adjustable compression springs have 31mm of travel, eliminating the problem of over-stretching due to aggressive skiing. They are specially developed for plastic boots with a sole thickness of 18mm.
