The 2002-03 Stockli Stormrider Fry is a legendary all-mountain ski that was designed and used by the world-famous extreme skier, Dominique Perret. According to Stockli’s marketing materials from back in ‘02, “The FRY is not for the meek, but for the all-mountain skier who won’t settle for anything less than the “best”.” And that sounds something like today’ (much wider) storm riders. Just like the contemporary skis, these FRYs were hand-made in Switzerland and feature a powerful, stiff, and energetic feel. Despite being just 73mm underfoot, in its heyday, it was seen as a mid-fat all-mountain ski with an incredible amount of edge hold and stability when railing through all sorts of terrain; hardpack, crud, and powder!
Today, the Stormrider Fry is something of a relic, a 194cm piece of ski history, and a strong point of nostalgia for longtime Stockli lovers. This is possibly the best-conditioned Stockli Stormrider Fry still around so grab ’em while we’ve got ’em!

The majority of shops will charge for this service. Only a certified shop can do this, with the user’s boots present.
