Atomic Backland Sport ski mountaineering boot is entry level and perfect for beginners, designed to be comfortable, light, easy to wear and use.

Backland Sport features a Free / Lock 2.0 two-lever locking system, which allows you to easily switch from ski to gear, offering you a quick and precise adjustment and to give your best both uphill and downhill.

The resistant and light Prolite construction has reinforcements in the points subject to greater stress and this allows you to tackle the climb without too much effort and the descent with great power thanks to the Energy Backbone.

The boot is also equipped with a Memory Gold 3D Light Fit liner, washable and breathable.

Backland boots are only compatible with TLT-style touring bindings that use traditional pins on both the toe and heel. They are not compatible with hybrid touring bindings, such as the Shift MNC 10 and 13.

Pay attention to the Atomic boot sizing system. The sizes go from two to two so a 27 actually corresponds to a 27 – 27.5. If you wear a 27 you can in fact buy a 27 and use an insert that you will find inside the package that allows you to take half a size. If you wear a 27.5 instead, you can wear the boot without insert.
