Ortovox Alu 240 is a light, essential and super intuitive avalanche probe, perfect for novice ski mountaineers!

Made of aluminum in 6 sections of 40 cm and 11 mm diameter, it has a weight of only 200 g and an overall length of 2.4 m. Each section is equipped with a clearly legible numerical indication and a clear depth marking for optimal shoveling strategy.

The quick-lock tensioning system allows you to extend the probe quickly and easily. In a few seconds it is ready for use and can then be released and folded just as quickly. Thanks to the adjustment screw you can adjust the tension quickly and easily.
