CAMP X-Dream Alpine is the ice ax par excellence for ice climbing, waterfalls and dry tooling: light and very precise!

Conceived therefore for the most technical and expert mountaineers, the now iconic X-Dream Alpine now boasts an updated and renewed version.

Extremely versatile, it has four interchangeable blades available that allow you to use the ice ax in various situations.

The blade fitted as standard is the Ice with its hammer. This blade is ice perfected with a notch not present on the handle.

Purchased separately and therefore not included with the purchase of this ice ax there are also the Mixte blade, the most versatile one that ensures excellent performance both on ice and rock, the Race for hooking on rock and the Total Dry for dry. tooling.

In addition, the Mixte and Ice blades are also compatible with shovel and hammer for an even more complete ice ax.

Another peculiarity of this product is the possibility to change the angle of the blade and the handle so as to easily switch from an Ice configuration perfect for ice climbing (48 ° and 100 ° angles) to a Dry one more suitable for dry tooling. and at competitions (angles 60 ° and 105 °). The Ice setting ensures an excellent strike and excellent penetration while the Dry guarantees greater downward traction allowing you to make various hooks as well as having a very comfortable grip.

The handle is in fact very ergonomic and made with high quality materials resistant even to very low temperatures. There are also two inserts included, the X-Finger, which allow you to micro-adjust at the index and the X-Rest with which you can reduce the length of the hilt by 5 mm.

Thought in the smallest details, the tape on the handle could not be missing to increase grip in the grip.

X-Dream Alpine is the more mountaineering version of the X-Dream and is perfect for those who want to do north faces, goulottes and mixed routes at high altitude.
