Grivel Ghost Evo Hammer Ice Axe

Grivel Ghost Evo is an ice ax with hammer designed for technical mountaineering. A special feature of this ice ax is its extreme lightness.

This is in fact the more technical version of the Ghost ski mountaineering pike. It therefore takes the feather weight of a typical ice ax for ski mountaineering but at the same time it is also extremely robust, a characteristic required in technical mountaineering.

To ensure extreme lightness, Ghost Evo has a carbon steel blade and tip while the G-Bone aluminum sleeve. This, then, is slightly curved in the upper part just below the head to facilitate the piolets traction mode while the final part is straight for progression in classic technique.
