The additional brake for the mechanical Prusik ZigZag Petzl Chicane is suitable for working on plants and for progression on a single rope.
Chicane is useful for obtaining greater braking during the lowering phase, an additional and permanent braking action.
Combined with the ZigZag mechanical Prusik (click here to view the product), it guarantees a smooth sliding up of the rope in the brake. The installation of the rope through the mobile flange is really simple and fast.
Chicane is equipped with an ergonomic handle that facilitates movement when returning to the trunk.
It is used with a Petzl Am’D or OK carabiner (not supplied) to be combined with the ZigZag.
